1. You can't fit 8 T5HOs over a 55.

2. If you could, you would kill EVERYTHING. You could put tables on the sand, and they'd still bleach out and die.

3. People need to get it through their heads that T5s are NOT LOW LIGHT.
So perhaps what I have will suffice!!!?? It sure seems nice and bright in there, but I know you can't just go off that.....

8- 24 watt bulbs is not overlit by any means, and with a length of 23.5 inches each they should fit in there just fine and the gap in the middle between them should be right over the center brace providing a perfect lighting scenario I think.
But ofcourse Rich would never agree with me on anything so I wouldn't expect this to be any exception I don't recall saying T-5 HO's are LOW LIGHT, but hey maybe I can't read either.
Love you buddy

reefkoi, he was talking about 48" bulbs, not 24" bulbs. So what 24" bulbs would do is irrellivant.

Oh I see Richard, I thought everyone was recommending he switch out his 48" bulbs with something else. I'm sorry to suggest using 24" lights. That was so dumb of me, I'll go put my head back into my *** now.
Thanks Dick, I mean Rich..........LOL
You are so cool, I love you so ****ing much, you are my ****ing hero
Hopefully one day I can quit working, have 7,000 posts and do nothing but rule the RC like you man, damn you are my hero.
