the number of failsafes you need is whatever it takes to make you sleep better at night unless youre the one with failure at stake don't judge other people for doing what you think unnecessary. as for pollution, my motto is earth first.

How often do you have a fish go over? Have any carpet surfed?

None yet but all I have is a clown, purple tang, mandarine and a pair of dragon face pipes.

how long have the pipes been alive? Are they doing well and staying fat?

Ya but I feed almost all live foods. I culture two types of micro algae, tigerpods, rotifers sometimes brine and Gracilaria.
I'm getting tired and going to stop pretty soon so we'll see what happens.

Don, I like the new Avitar. Is that that Sam Maloof design?

Its a distant copy but of course inspired by Sam Maloof. The conversation sort of got off track. My tank is zeroedge/overflowing whatever you choose to call it.
