Lol, the more the better.

I started leaving my lights on for eight hours now. Water temp gets up to 84 now. So i went to Kmrt and got two clip on fans andput them in my canopy blowing down at the waterunder the reflectors. For the past two days water temp has notgone over 80 now. I want to get a AC Jrso that i can put hose fans and my heaters on it to help keep the temp stable and to also monitor the PH and control when i get my calcium reactor.

I was reading on te back of the algea sheets i got for my fish and it said it is only a supplement to oter food sources, should i e feeding somethingelse with it? I do have Formula two marine pellet by ocean nutrition, should i give them to him also?

Chris

Looks good, but wont the plumbing in the sand become distracting once you start stocking the tank with corals?

eight hours is all I would leave the halides on for--so if you have it at 80 degress you are doing great
what is the flow rate in your tank--should be in total-- 20-40 times your tank vol in gph
this can help with heat dissipation.

most corals eat zooplankton---mysis, cyclopeeze etc

if you have a refugium that is producing copopods and other zooplankton then you occasionaly feed them the phytoplankon--this is what they eat.

Thanks capt,

I got a dart on a closed loop and mag 9.5 for the sump/fuge return for my flow. Think that is enough? I added my clam and hairy mushrooms from my 20 gallon the other day. They look like they are doing great. I really need someone in my area to comeand help me aquascape because i think it looks bad.
