thanks again everyone. I think ebay might be the way to go, and I'll use a mag 5 instead of the canister, it was just a thought. I still think $119 is a bit much for the lifereef, but if that's what it takes, i guess that's what I'd have to do. I'll research the diy forum and try to get my sump project going...
