Anyone else have any first hand experiences with these Precision Marine Redline skimmers....I am thinking about picking one up but, it between these and the octos?

got a RL200 and after being broken in this thing is pulling some serious junk. Thumbs up from me.

these are basically like euroreef bodies with the newly redesigned octopus skimmer pumps, with better venturi and bigger outlet. i bet after mesh mod these totally scream, but yeah, the hailea/octopus pumps arent the best, to be certain...
the failure rate of these pumps is comparably higher than say eheim or sicce.

My 150 came in the mail today. Took me about 2 minutes to setup, you just plug all the pieces into each other. No results from the skimmer yet, obviously, but it definitely feels real solid in its construction.

A picture of a RL200 on a 100G Rubbermaid FULL of fresh live rock. Rock's still pretty good as it was airshipped from source to me.

Container filled in les than three hours and as you can see the water level is a little below the neck.
