I read somewhere that injecting them with lemon juice will kill them. Anybody tried that?

Everyone always said to use a little syringe to blast the guys with boiling water. I didn't want to take the chance of mine coming back so I took a turkey baster, filled it up with boiling hot ro/di water (be careful if you boil this in the microwave, it can become superhot and anything that breaks the surface tension of the water causes it to spray everywhere). I put that turkey baster right up to the hole on the rock and emptied the entire baster full of boiling water right on that guy and...never saw him again.

However, a few warnings...I did this while my tank was cycling, so there was no other livestock that could get accidentally burned. Also, I have a 100gallon tank so the boiling water had very little effect on the tank's temperature/salinity. I'd imagine with a smaller tank (less then 75 gallons), this might have some negative effects on the tanks chemistry.

If your tank is big enough, I'd try this route..theres very little extra risk doing things this way I think, since you're just adding water and not chemicals.

On a semi-related note..does anyone know if theres a certain way aiptasia gets into the rocks or is it just a "luck of the draw" thing? I got my liverock from a reputable dealer (i think) but I still got aiptasia.

I just used the Red Sea product. Took 10 minutes t eradicate about a dozen of them.

Worth the money.

I stop all the pumps then give them a squirt (not inject) of Vinegar.

Melts them and the rock bubbles a little for a while
after a few minutes I turn the pumps back on.

My skunk cleaner shrimp must like vinegar because he will
rush over afterwards and dig at the spot afterwards.
