I dont have a meter to measure it but if you look at my video you can see that the entire skimmer body is Completely opaque white from super fine bubbles.

Here is a link to the video I took on its second day up and running...
AR200 2nd day

I like what I see with the WM skimmers, but the only thing are the screws... They seem to have more screws than a career politician, lol...

I can literally remove my ATB's cup, clean it and reinsert the cup, and fire the skimmer back up, all in 142 seconds—my friend timed me. It seem to me fuzzing with all those screws would take much, much longer... Well, in fact I know it does, as my old Beckett was like that—screws left and right, on the lid, on the cup/body union... Always took me an hour on Saturday mornings to de-screw, remove and clean the cup. For me two minutes is much easier and better...

And the reason they are overflowing is the guys on that thread are running with the internal water level set way way too high trying to compensate for using a too small feed pump to feed the skimmer -

you can't properly feed a 360 - 400g capacity rated 8" X 30" tall recirc skimmer with a <200 gph powerhead

nothing to do with any defects on the part of the skimmer, just not being operated correctly

Todd might want to do his own research before commenting...

My AR200 has a twist off cup also...the lid does have screws as this model has an auto shutoff which requires a sealed system. I travel a lot so that is actually a feature I like. I dont think it would take that much longer to undo the screws on the lid to clean the cup.

The screws that hold the tapered cone to the main body will very rarely ever need to be messed with as the only time would be when you want to clean deep in the main body.

for what its worth the tolerences on these skimmers is so good that you barely need to tighten the screws which makes them very easy to turn when you do need to.

Yeah, Jon PM'd me tonight and explained about the screws and the auto-shut off system on his AR skimmers. I told him the same thing you mentioned—for those that travel, this is a GREAT option.

I really like what I am reading too about the The sedra 9000HO. Greg Carroll said it was equal if not superior to the Eheim 1262 on his WM...
