I like what I see with the WM skimmers, but the only thing are the screws... They seem to have more screws than a career politician, lol...
I can literally remove my ATB's cup, clean it and reinsert the cup, and fire the skimmer back up, all in 142 seconds—my friend timed me. It seem to me fuzzing with all those screws would take much, much longer... Well, in fact I know it does, as my old Beckett was like that—screws left and right, on the lid, on the cup/body union... Always took me an hour on Saturday mornings to de-screw, remove and clean the cup. For me two minutes is much easier and better...

you can't properly feed a 360 - 400g capacity rated 8" X 30" tall recirc skimmer with a <200 gph powerhead nothing to do with any defects on the part of the skimmer, just not being operated correctly Todd might want to do his own research before commenting...

The screws that hold the tapered cone to the main body will very rarely ever need to be messed with as the only time would be when you want to clean deep in the main body. for what its worth the tolerences on these skimmers is so good that you barely need to tighten the screws which makes them very easy to turn when you do need to. eins |

I really like what I am reading too about the The sedra 9000HO. Greg Carroll said it was equal if not superior to the Eheim 1262 on his WM...
