Left side (skimmer side) Right side (refugium side) The ends of the drain now go up from 1" to 1.5" on both sides. I'm getting a lot of microbubbles into my display. It is difficult to capture still but does the bubbles look normal to everyone? I'm getting so much that it is literally bubbling up through the vent pipe on the skimmer side. It is actually acting like a skimmer. All it needs is a collection cup. For some reason the left side seems to be getting more water velocity than the right. The tank is level and the water level in the overflows is very similiar from one to the other although even if they were off I don't think that would amount to anything. My durso's are identical to the DIY dursos. The only difference form one side to the other is the size/number of holes. I have an airline tube inserted into the duro of the skimmer side. Both were having a flushing action until I got enough holes and now both hold the same level. I think the bubbles are due to the drain not due to the water entering the sump but I have no evidence to back that assumption up. Any ideas? |
