Yeah, I run a 250w phoinex 14k MH on the 46g and 150w phoinex 14K MH on the 24g nano. Both bulbs were replaced about 4 months ago |

My guess is that since none of my other corals in the tank have their polyps retracted ever except when snails crawl over them, that the angel is not picking on ANY corals |

I have the same problem as you clown. I stubbled upon your thread in a search for an answer. My tank was fine about 4 months ago. The polyps were always out on both LPS and SPS, acans fully inflated all the time, and everything had color. The only change I made at the time was changing out a Pheonix bulb for a reeflux 12k, and adding alot more coral. Since then (4 months now) all of my corals have lost P.E. & color, and my acans are shrivled (more color though). They dont even extend their tentacle to feed, but take food. My zoo's are opened up and holding color just fine. All my parameters are in good range. I doubted my test and had other friends test for me with higher equipment and everything is fine. I tested for everything from Temp to Phosphates. Im at a lost. I started dosind A.A. along with some other products to see what works. Im skimming a little wetter than usual and added more GAC with my heavy stock of coral. So far nothing has helped. I'm almost too the same conclusion others have already mentioned, taking the fish out. I have a trigger and a flameback in my coral tank. I keep them feed and the only time I see them nipping the coral is when Im spot feeding the coral. But taking the fish out and putting them in another tank will let me know if they are the culprit or not. But Im doubting they are b/c my frags high in the water colum on frag racks where the fish dont go have no PE either.

Maybee the corals that have been in there for the last two years have slowly acclimated to something slightly toxic in your water that you use for water changes and can handle it but anything new can not, maybee check your top off water. beatifull tank though, hope you find the cause.
