Mohawks

I really like the idea of sharing corals a-la GPL(Free and all derivatives stay free) because I've been a proponent of open source software for years and if my tank is healthy I promise you, I'll have pieces of all my coral in here. Livestock is just way too expensive... So here is my first contribution. It is nothing too special, but the only thing I can frag off (don't forget I started 11 weeks ago...) A small rubble with 4 polyp Variable Star palys (mohawks):

Pink Birds Nest frag. About 2" :

Comes with disk mount, does NOT come with Scarlet Hermit

Oh and the recessed skin at the base is from the glue, frag is healthy.

I have another one that will go for the raffle tomorrow.

Open source software rocks. I just realized there is an open source .NET framework - so now I am doing iPhone app programming in C# instead of the nasty XCode. I will be doing an iPhone app for controlling a reef tank with the Arduino controller at some point, anyone interested? And you can't beat OpenOffice, free, and works like the expensive Office for what most home users do.

I will be donating a bunch of corals to this program once I get my LED lighting finished and everything acclimates.

I have a zoa frag up for the coral share program that I can bring in for today's meeting. Late notice I know, but just figured out that I could go.

The zoas are green with orange centers and yellow/green skirts. Were given to me by Jeff and grow very fast so I was able to crate a nice frag. Sorry, no pics right now, but hey are really nice. It's probably 20+ polyps.

Will check here before leaving and I'll bring it in if someone wants it.

Ill have to update the thread with pics of all the nice corals club members have donated, or have given me cuttings back from prev ones I gave out in the past....

This is a cool idea. We did something similar in my old club and it seemed to work pretty well.
