Okay, not to hijack but I was about to buy LR for my very first SW tank and now I'm TERRIFIED! I just convinced myself to buy the kind of LR with hitchhikers because I read coralline only LR didn't have internal critters to move the water through the rock to filter it. I am scared of that thing.

Has anyone had any problems with the Drs. LR? They claim it's pest free. I would pass out if I saw anything like that in my tank. Nightmares for years...

There is no such thing as a pest free batch of live rock, unless it is dead rock they left in the system for a few years and even then there is a chance. I've had rock in a tank for 2-3years and had new coral pop up not to mention snails, crabs and just about everything else!
