Actually it came from Google, I like it because it never fails someone will try and revive history like it's a current topic. How did you ever find a thread about Christmas lights in the first place? People sometimes do dumb things, it's what keeps the Darwin Awards fun year after year.

I hate to admit to being a nerd, but I am told I am frequently. My first computer was an Osborn, running CPM, I began programming in basic in 1979 and have never bought a pre-made computer since the Osborn, which was over 5 grand in 81, serious Jack for Jack back then. If any of us can look at our tanks and say we aren't nerds, then we are in denial. :-) For keeping testosterone in balance I have been skateboarding since (cough)the mid 70's(cough), motocross, autocross and drag racing.

Just remember to check the date of a thread before you post in it, the OP may have already died in a fire.
