The 120's typically come with meshwheel and sometimes comes with both mesh and pinwheel. Rep said in the 120's are the only ones like this, as they found that the 120's seem to pull just a bit more CFM with pinwheel so some have pinwheel already installed. I would imagine though meshwheel even if it pulls slightly a bit less air, the bubble are finer being chopped up by the mesh would be what you want.

yeah they are all mesh/pinwheel hybrid... only recently the 120's (ONLY THE 120's) started coming with pinwheel/mesh, and sometimes with a pinwheel without mesh(came with both impellers)... not sure if its standard on the new ones Or not (again regarding the 120's ONLY).

Can't you just look inside? Probably a mesh wheel since it uses a sicce right? Sicce and mesh are common. Unless they swapped it out for a pinwheel like the ATB's.

I had to turn it halfway becuase it would immediatlu overflow now it takes Like 10 mins to overflow lame. So I take it it's just part of the break in?

Yeah they are all like that in the beginning. Most skimmers have a break in period. You just might not notice it with other skimmers because the pump output isn't matched as closely to the skimmer body.

I thought I should share this with you guys
Danny, the normal impeller has a tiny sliver of mesh on it and 4 needle wheel layers. The one i sent you has three pieces of mesh inbetween two nw layers. Normal impeller pulls 650-700lph air depending on water level and that one pulls 850-900lph air. When you put it in the foam head will be twice as large...do it already man!!!! You'll be amazed.
