Ok, the guys at Lee Mar just made my decision for me. 400's directly over the braces could heat the glass to the point where it could melt the silicone and thus cause a catastrophic tank failure.

I'm going with 250's!

Good choice with the 250s. I've tried the radium 400 watt on many ballasts to see if the pink would go away...it didn't.

Also Radium DOES NOT warranty their bulbs.

Good choice. I just got rid of the icecap's and got 3 250 M80 HQI ballasts running radiums last week. All i can say is awesome.I wish I would of done it years ago
