I'll probably end up going with the same kit, just to get the tank going, budget wise, it'd be mid summer before I'd have the funds for an ai sol.

What optics are you running? And all Cool whites and royal blues?

Just messing with you. I wanted a subie since 2003, saved up worked hard and got a brand new one in 2007. I love it. I was messing with b/c a lot of hondas try to race me at the stoplights. Tank is looking great man, love the stand and tile. How much did that tank run you?

Do you have any reservations about the grout in the tile allowing for stress points in the rimless glass? Are you putting foam under the tank? I would be scared of it cracking on that tile surface.

I have considered this, instead of foam I'm going to use 2-3 layers of shelf liner, the rubber type.

Nice build and nice car. Love the stand and tile work. I've got a 06 RSX Type-S so I appreciate fellow honda heads who are into the reefkeeping scene. My car has been neglected since I got heavy into the reef side of things. Poor thing is begging for more mods but I keep spending the $ on coral lol

Theres nothing left to add to my engine, besides the cams i've had for a few years sitting in the box. Just need money for dyno time, but just like you, I'll spend on the tank first

Have all my plumbing all done, sump just needs baffles and I need to order rock, I decided to go with marcorocks.

Glass Holes Nano Con dientes and 1/2 inch return kit

FTS, I don't think i'm going to paint the back glass and leave it clear.

Sump, I need to mount my Aqua Controller Jr/DC8 and clean up all the wires. Mag 5 is split between return and phosban reactor

Phosban reactor that I'll be running biopellets in this time instead of phosban.

View from behind the stand, showing my return manifold.

Looks absolutely great. Very clean. Any details on the DIY LED would be great. Pics and details about how you plan to mount it/house it would be just great.

I actually have been looking into the subrite slimlime LED fixture. It costs as cheap as a DIY setup, but it's already built and has remote control

Ah nice. Sounds like a nice car. Mine is all bolt ons right now. I'd love to do more but spending all that money for Kpro and the RBC IM is so tough to do when I know what kind of a tank I could have for that money. Your cams sound like my intake manifold gasket. Been sitting in the garage for about 3 years now cause I'm too lazy to pull the IM to put it on.

Tank first, car second

Setup pics look awesome. Though I'd go and paint the back black but thats just my opinion.

I do suggest putting eggcrate or something in the overflow to stop snails from climbing in. I had a turbo get under the overflow baffle and block the bulkhead in my 7.5 and woke up to a wet floor. Since I put eggcrate in the overflow and the turbo cant get by it.
