Thanks for the response wineman!
Well, I will be adding SPS and I know 250's would be fine for all types of corals, but I'd like to use the 175's if they would be enough. That's the advice I'm seeking. Would 175's let everything thrive...not just survive?

I have read an article reviewing Lumen Bright Reflectors:
http://reefkeeping.com/issues/2008-06/review/index.php They got excellent Pars from 175 that were close to that of some 250s with a lot less heat generation. To decide between 175s or 250s would really depend on the reflectors you choose. I am using the Lumen Bright Mini w/ 250 Radium over my standard 90gl. |
