what you need is my external panworld 200ps pump, all your troubles and heat problems will be solved, flow will be no problem anymore, plus it will attach directly to the acrylic sump you are about to buy...

Why not?, I've used this pump on my 210 with no problems, if u add up the wattage of running reactor pumps and powerheads, its about the same, atleast this is external which will not put heat in tank like magdrives will do,, plus is you throttle this down with a valve it wont be 290 watts

For that app in a Panworld Id use a 100PXX for 130W . Thats 160W left over. You could get a heck of a lot more in tank flow with powerheads. I you want more return GPH, a Reeflo maybe. High wattage return pump is a very inefficient way to get display flow. I recommended an external, but a high head pump like that is not needed for that setup.

The ps100 is rated 790gph that'd a turnover of just over 2 times hr, with the ps200 which is 1790gph, the turn over is 6, which is much better than 2, specially on a long 8foot tank

A 100PXX is 1270 GPH. Not a ton but enough. You can get a 3250 GPH powerhead 10X turnover for 18W.

The Reeflo snapper/dart hybrid pump is 2400gph to 3600gph @ 98watts. Best pump and quietest out there IMHO.
