Definitely interested in these lights, seem like a great alternative to DIYing a CREE fixture.

Mark how well is the front to back spread on these lights in terms of growing SPS in your 120 at different heights? I'm in the process of upgrading to a 120, 48x24 footprint and was just curious on your experiences on that front?

Have you found any negatives with the fixtures? Any problems with any corals to speak of?

Two of those units cover my tank perfectly with light,no dark spots. Here is recent picture ,blue LED only, with all LED's on overall look is more like 10K-12K.

How did you acclimate your corals since you can't dim that model? Hang it higher?

Spread is very good,I have no dark spots in my tank at all,you can keep SPS all the way on the bottom.I have my fixtures about 12in. high.As far as problems ,I did bleached out two corals when switched from T5's.Other than that really no problems. My corals are happy ,growing and showing good colors.I know Apollo is coming out with dimmable fixtures, definitely I would wait for them.It is a nice feature to have.

Yes,I did hang them high, at 24in. at the start.I lowered couple of in.every week till got down to 12in. above water.Still I bleached out two corals. Those lights are very bright.

Three of those will be enough for your tank. One fixture covers 24x24 and if you look at Apollo website PAR at 24" is 285 and at 32" is 165.It should be somewhere around 200 at 27".

I am going to stick with tho ones I got,I don't really need dimmables. But I will have them customized by Joe from Apollo.I will have him put few purple and red LED chips in my fixture. If you are changing from T5 you want dimmables,so you can change the intensity to acclimate your corals. As you see on this video they are very powerful.I have mine about 10" above water level and still bleaching my sunset monti all the way on the bottom of my tank.
