If you have a glass tank, use a straight edge razor to scrape it off (DON'T do this if you have acrylic).
Rejoice it being on your rocks; they'll look nice. It means your tank chemistry is pretty good. As tgirl said, once it starts going, it's hard to stop.
Would you know how I can take it off my dunkin coral it also took over my some of my zoans.

Sorry not a good pic but here is one. It is very thick. I just want to know what I can put in my tank that will keep it in check.

Thanks,
Tamara

I wouldn't go the asterina starfish route either. They can multiply quickly and irritate or eat zoas.

I noticed that when I got my calcium reactor online, the coralline growth took off. How are your alk, ca, and mag levels? And lighting schedule? If I wanted to decrease coralline growth, I'd probably decrease my lighting schedule a bit.

Thank you Aleonn.

I start tuning on my lights at 8Am and start to turn off lights when sun starts to go done. At dusk I turn the white lights off & leave the blue lights on till it is completly dark ou: then tanks off.

Hello TimeConsumer

I agree with what you said and I love the look of the coralline, but it is growing on my coral.

Do you or anyone know how I can pick/get it off my coral (dunkin) with out inguring my coral. It is starting to creep up onto the head.

Would like suggestions with that anyone....

Sounds like your lighting schedule is 12 hrs or so? For reference, mine are on for about 7 hrs (8 x 80W for a 180g with mainly softies and LPS, and a couple clams). You can try slowly reducing the light schedule to say, 10 hrs or so and evaluate from there.
