Hi Sisterlimonpot, beautiful tank. I too love the plating on that green montipora. Did it start from a single piece, or multiple pieces?

it was a tiny frag 2"x1" piece that has grown. I have given many frags away of it over the years.

I thought I did, but I do love the clean look of your blue background and tanks with clean, clear glass.

haha, I'm just giving you a hard time, we have a guy in our reef club that has a tank full of coralline and he complains that his corals aren't growing as fast, he doses large amounts of 2 part via a doser (almost twice as much as I do). I keep telling him that the coralline is robbing his corals of the alk calc and mag and that once he scrapes that stuff off he will have huge growth spurts with his coral.

Looks good, I see some valonia (bubble algae) in there, if you get some emerald crabs they will get rid of those before they start to multiply and take over the tank.

Hmm, I do have a lot of coralline. I wonder just how much calcium it's eating up!
