I plumbed up the BRS reactors yesterday. No aquarium work today. Its time for some real fun with my other build.

Very clean set up.
Will you still be able to use the closet or will you worry about moisture? Corey |

My tank has arrived. The quality and workmanship is incredible. Felix did an awesome job. It is 62 x 18 x 24 Rimless. 3 sides blacked out, 3/4 low iron glass, custom glass-holes overflow w/ two 1.5" drains and two 1" returns.

Corey, the closet will be fully usable. There will be no moisture in the closet as all of the water that passes through the closet is contained and sealed.

Here is my first attempt at aquascaping.
I am going for a more open look this time with a larger sand bed for a clam or two. The tape on the table represents the tank dimensions. The large rock in the center will just break the surface of the water. I am hoping a crab a two will hang out on top. It should look neat since the tank is rimless. The 4x8 brown sheet you see in the back round is 3/8 acrylic for the sump build.

Here are some photos of the sump building process. On this one I used 3/8" thick acrylic.
Leak Checking the sump. No Leaks!!!! Finished up the plumbing

I did complete fresh water test and ran the system for a full day with no problems. The water was drained and rocks rinsed one last time. The rocks are all Marco and the sand is Tropic Eden Reef flakes. The sand was rinsed and added. The system was filled with new RODI salt water and the cycle started. I added Fritz 900 turbo, and two shrimp. In the refugium I added some live rock from my temporary aquarium and a scoop of the live sand. The light is a 4 foot Pacific Sun LED Metis Hyperion. It is over my temporary tank right now and will be moved when the cycle is complete.

Very cool aquascaping which will look fantastic when covered in corals, the pinnacle breaking the water surface looks good and would be awesome if a crab or two decided to sun bake there when your lights are on.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I have the cycle going now. I also finished off the closet so I will post some pictures of that tomorrow.
