Unfortunatly you need to qt and medicate ALL fish now and leave the tank fallow for 8-12 weeks. Thats why you ALWAYS qt all incoming fish. Good luck!

Good luck as you go forward!
That is also a valid point, Hadn't gotten that far yet

I personally would try to get a small hob skimmer running in the dt before you add your fish back from qt. That will help greatly and def +1 on aiming a power head upward so it makes ripples in the surface of the water.. that helps release gasses. Idk if you mentioned or not.. but are you running a lid of any kind on this tank?

No lid, I'm looking into making a screen one. And I have been looking onto skimmers, any good suggestions?? I want one I can bring with me to my bigger tank later on.

Try to find the clear 1/4 or 1/2 inch screen. I know BRS sells it. I tried reg window screen it blocked a lot of light. Just a FYI

I assume you already know this but just in case...stop feeding.

As for skimmers I take it you do not have a sump so we are talking the hob version. THere are a few ok ones, Octopus makes a good one from what I have heard....then there is the Deltec MCE600 which is miles ahead of all other hob skimmers....also miles ahead in price though. i converted a fresh water tank to a reef tank so no sump and did my research before buying a skimmer, went with the deltec and never looked back. It is better than many good quality in sump skimmers....the collection cup sucks badly though and you need to empty it every day.
