So into the tank went:

150 lbs of live rock
100 lbs of dry rock
100 lbs of live special grade sand
265 gallons of saltwater (Total System Volume)
and two hours of aquascaping ideas

and here is what i came up with

Let me know what you guys think!

Here is a quick video so you can try to see the AMAZING coloration from these Mitras. I think you can also see the shimmering in the video which you cant see in person......

Nice build and love the aquascape. Are 2 of those Mitras going to have a good enough spread for the needs of your tank? What type of tank are you going for?

Yes, the two mitras are more then enough for the tank. In the pictures the tank looks way more dull then in person. These things cover a crazy area!

I am going to be having a mixed reef with almost a little of everything in the tank!!! There are just too many cool corals out there to stick with just SPS or LPS or even just softies!

Here are some pictures of my custom sump, built for me by Tyler and Elite Aquatics.
I am VERY happy with this sump, i drew what i wanted on a piece of paper and after speaking with Tyler for a few days we came up with this sump which works wonderfully. The fit and finish is second to none and i have had trigger systems and many other high end sumps. I chose the color, and the entire layout!
Take a look and let me know what you think!

Dimensions are 44 x 18 x 20
