My wife said, "You better try drilling it, so if it breaks we can get another before the sale is over." so I went for it. |

I've added a partial clean up crew.
I purchased my crew from liveaquaria.com Sadly about 30% were dead upon arrival, so what is left follows: 3 Astraea Turbo Snail 3 Cerith Snail 1 Dwarf Blue Leg Hermit Crab Dwarf Zebra Hermit Crab (dunno) 1 Electric Blue Hermit Crab 1Emerald Crab 3-4 Nassarius Snail 2 - Peppermint Shrimp 1 - Scarlet Reef Hermit Crab 1 - Snapping Shrimp maybe... have not seen it since release I will add more snails as needed down the road. |

I plan to add add pistol shrimp/goby combo first.
I would also like to add a blenny. Second I think. Followed by another fish... not sure what yet. 3rd Then later down the road 2 clown fish with anemone. (2-3 months on the fish) and ... 6 months later for anemone? Any suggestions would be helpful, compatibility, order to buy, etc. Plus I'm not sure what to add for a third fish. I would also like to add a cleaner shrimp in the very near future. |

I added a Blue Spotted Watchman Goby. It has adjusted and is eating well.
It took it all of one night to take over it's castle under a rock. It gets less timid every day. I'm now on the hunt for a pistol shrimp. I'm hoping they will pair up. I think I will add a blennie after the shrimp, followed by something (not sure yet... ) then a clown or two. NO anemone for me after doing further reading/research. But possibly a hammer coral. |

Craigs list has a 1000 gallon aquarium for $1800........ If I had the space, my wife would even help set it up! Time for a new house! |

Looking good so far Dave. A small suggestion re your aquascaping, take that rock off the top of the right side and make a small outcrop on the left side totally separate from the right pile so you have a reef slope from right to left down to the sand bed and a gap before a second small rock outcrop. The small outcrop only needs to be one or two rocks and off the back glass. If you're game to have a play with your rock i think you will be pleased with the look i'm trying to explain, if not just ignore me lol.

If you got Florida live rock there is a decent chance you got a pistol shrimp with your rock, so I would wait a little bit and see if you hear popping or clicking noises from your tank at night. If so, you either have a pistol or mantis in there. I ordered some and got a few at a minimum. |

That's funny. I did some moving around tonight after reading about positive and negative space. And 3rds. Thanks for the input. I'll shoot a picture tomorrow. I had the tank clouded up tonight. |
