Tunzes are dead silent, and far more adjustable.

Voretchs put less heat in the water, take up less space, and come with a controller.

If you're getting a controller anyways, I'd opt for Tunze. If not, Vortech might be a better choice (unless opting for non-controllable PHs).

If price is a concern, Hydro Koralias are worth a look. I'm using two of the big Koralias on the Hydor on/off wave maker in my 120, in addition to Tunzes hooked up to my Apex.
