You've made great progress. Your tank is looking incredible. I'm getting great skim with my 9004, It took a little bit to break in and tune, but once it did its been kickin ***.

After waiting a bit for some new details, I'm about a month in, and the tank couldn't be doing better, other than my 3 disappearing sexy shrimp. My guess is they were dinner for my six line wrasse.

My next addition: I also got a blue spotted jaw fish, and it eats tons and tons of food. I think it would eat nonstop if I fed it non-stop. I bought it from Brea Tropical Fish for half price, since he had several buyers at one time of this particular fish.

I put a tube together and shoved it in the sand so that "Jawface" (what my wife named it) could have a home.

After about 4 days, it finally made the pipe its home about 80% of the time. If you look closely, you can see the Six Line Wrasse being shy in the back of the photo in the rock.

Then I added a couple guys to my cleanup crew. Was the starfish a mistake??

So far my favorite part of all of this is my copepods. I bought a little bag of Tisbe copepods from a vendor at MAX a few weeks ago, and this week they exploded. I had a thick film of HA that I have to clean every day. Once the pods went nuts, I haven't cleaned the glass yet. It's been about 4 days, and I haven't touched the glass, and it's spotless. A sidenote, the greens on my Radion Pro are at 100% I believe. So my observation is this, if you have plenty of pods, you don't need to worry about a HA outbreak from excessive green spectrum.

This picture is when I first saw the copepod outbreak. Next morning, there was no algae left; glass was clean and clear.

We've been working nights for the last week or so, so I've been out of it. For some reason the Block at Orange doesn't want my guys cutting trees during the day.

View from 60' that nobody else gets.

Finally a FTS:

-I taped the lid shut for the first week that I introduced the Jawfish, since I heard they like to Kamikazee. I did NOT want to lose that fish.

-GSP: I know it's just GSP, but it seems to gro half-inch per week or more. I don't even care that it's a dime a dozen, I just love the way it sways back and forth (thanks to my EcoTech powerhead). Then at night, with the UV lights (on the Radion) blasting on it, it glows. No joke, all my corals glow at night. It looks cooler than during the day.

-Maze Favia: comparatively slow grower, but looks cool. I bought it at MAX, and I've noticed some growth on it, and it's kept its color nicely.

-Superman Monti: barely visible in the shot, its in the top rock against the glass, towards the very middle. My intention is for it to grow along the back wall and cover it over time. It appears to be encrusting on the back wall. Sweet.

Last, and kinda least, I bought some chaeto, and have it lit by some Taam submersible LED's, and I'm not crazy about these lights. I want a light with a very thin profile (maybe a JBJ fuge light) or a submersible light that I can grow the chaeto in the back chamber of the tank. NO HOB! I'm trying to make this tank as sleek as possible.

Next addition (in a couple months) is either a RTBA, unless I can talk myself into buying a Ritteri.

I need to hook up my Tunze Osmolator in the meantime.

Looks great. So what is your opinion of the Nuvo 38g? Did you have any problems with it?

I love the tank. off the top of my head, I can't think of anything I don't like about my setup. I've seen the jbj version of this same tank, and the IM is higher quality.

I just really like my whole setup. The aio helps keep everything everything tight compact and organized.

I think dimensions are 30" wide, maybe 18" tall. Their website has a cut sheet with all dims.

Thanks for all the pics and info. Waiting on my 38 to arrive and will have similar setup. Please post pics and thoughts of your Tunze Osmolator. Haven't decided on getting one as of yet. Also, did the Tumze Skimmer fit right in without any modification or extra brackets to hold it up at that level? Thanks in advanced.

Thanks for the link, it seems on Marine Depot they leave the measurements out on some of the tanks or maybe I am just missing it.
Do you think that two Kessil 150's would work on good the Nuvo 38?

I guess the 2 kessils would, I just don't have any experience with them.

Haven't connected the Osmolator yet, but I had it on my previous tank and it was my favorite piece of equipment. It's super convenient.

far as the skimmer, it fits PERFECTLY.

I haven't seen the need to upgrade the return pump. With the EcoTech power head, I Jane more than enough flow.

I guess if I was really going 100% into sps, then I might have bought the bigger EcoTech and dial it way down, but I'm not lacking any flow with what I have.

How full did you fill it? I cant tell by your pics. I have a Nuvo 38 and think I filled it too full of water. Do you just fill it to the top of the dividers in the back? Thanks
