I have one that I really like (I think of him as a pet :-p) that I'd like to get out before I add fish (ordered bonded pair of Helfrichi firefish from DD). First fish will be going into QT on Tuesday. The first two weeks will be TTM for them to eradicate ich, then a month of observational QT with a course of Prazi.
I've tried the glass, and he's too smart to fall for it. Any other ideas? Soda bottle? I'm worried that he won't step onto any clear, smooth surface. He's close to hand tame, so I might be able to lure him out with krill on a skewer. |

I tried catching crabs before with shrimp in one hand and a long screwdriver in the other. Doesn't work, I just end up smashing up my LR lol.
I also have a 'collection' of crabs in jars, mostly xanthids. They get 70% w/c every other day and bi weekly feedings lol. Some have been in jars for nearly 4 months. http://i.imgur.com/3KTBF.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Phplf.jpg http://i.imgur.com/zKVce.jpg
