There could be a few things. Have you primed the pump? I know with my BH1000 I used on my 30g I needed to prime that sucker hard core for it to start working. I primed by putting my thumb over the airline, wait for there to be NO bubbles, then release and repeat until I was getting the correct amount of bubbles going in the chamber.

Come to think of it my sister in law has a coralife 65g skimmer and hers had absolutely NO bubbles in it. I had to go over her house 4th of July to fix it. I took apart the pump assembly and put it back together and primed it and it started working and hasn't stopped yet.

From the looks of the video is not getting enough air.. Try blowing into the tube and see if it's restricted at all.. Also seems like the level is fine for breaking but Def not getting enough air.. Is there a valve to control the air? It should have rolling waves of bubbles inside it.. I would check out YouTube to see a video of one in action that can't be right.. That's not going to remove any solids like that..
Could be as stated above pump maybe not fully primed but that seems kinda impossible with the pump submerged IMO.. You can get a foam head during break in with some skimmers but it's best to just let them break in (slime coat on body) by running them wide open to function correctly and stop producing micro bubbles..

Do you have the skimmer wide open or closed? Should be a tube with a dot to adjust bubble production. This should be wide open during the break in period.

Does the amount of bubbles change though? You should get more wide open. That adjustment isn't for water it is for air intake.

Thats awesome! I know when I got my corals and put them in the tank I loved watching them over the fish. Now to see that they are growing new heads and getting larger I am even more happy about it.
