So my issue similar to yours is still present, but is finally starting to clear up. I have done a few water changes, making sure to blow off the rocks with a turkey baster to remove any detritus. I think the biggest impact to this crap was to clean my refugium. I had very low flow in the refugium and neglected to keep it clean. In addition to cyano, I also had some stuff bubbling up on the tank walls. I drained it out completely, scraped the walls clean, rinsed out the rock and did a 100% water change on the refugium. I also added a small powerhead to add some flow. I found some empty snail shells so they probably died and added to the issue.
Long story short, try and see if there is any detritus build up in the tank or on the rock and fix that. Hopefully you can start to overcome that stuff on your rocks. |

So did a 8 gallon WC and went lights out for 3 days and it seems that most of it went away but u can still see some of that stuff on my rocks
