MP60.

I have a 5' 150g tank, and have 2 MP60s on each end of the tank.

I can run them at a lower setting to make less noise and last longer.

I use all three, MP10 for my small tanks and MP40 for my 100 g cube and MP60 for my 320. Although MP40 rated for glass thickness of .75 inches, It really does not take this thickness well and often uncouple at this thickness. I originally planed to use 4 MP40 but ended up using 2 MP60 instead. The flow is great for my 320 gal tank.

It seem like some people do not think that they can or should take their MP to 100%. I disagree. If Vortech engineered their product for 100% then running it at 100% should not be a problem. It would not be a good product if it break down running at 100%.
I got my MP60 at lagoon mode at 100% for about 1.5 years now and certainly have no problem with it. There is some dust collection on the heat sink that I will try to clean this weekend.
The problem with the MP60 is if I mount it at 16 inches or less, I get whirlpool and get air suck in to it at 100%.
I got a shield from PicOAquariums.com that solve this problem. I do have a sand bed and do have clams and Haddoni carpet anemones on the bottom that does not want this high flow on the bottom.
MP40, due to the rotor cover does not have this problem but MP10 and MP60 does. I am not sure why Vortech design the MP40 differently than the MP10 and MP60
Here are two pictures of my MP60 shields in action. I love it. Now my two MP60 are 12 inches from the water surface and work beautifully
