My buddy removed the middle 2 bulbs out of a sunpower and made circular cutouts. He then dropped 2 kessils in the middle of the sunpower fixture. It looked pretty good. He had a floating canopy so he didn't totally do all the finish work on it. His stuff did well under it. For me, I would just run the t5s and call it a day. If you need to have sunrise features, then the dimable sunpower is awesome. If you're after shimmer, add a white reef bright on the back of the sunpower.
I have a 6 bulb fixture, and if I ever upgrade to a 24" wide tank, I am planning on adding a couple reef bright strips to this fixture.
