210gal because it's exactly the same only taller. Taller tanks give a bigger "wow" factor imo

While I agree with this... You can literally play this game until you have a 500 gallon tank in your living room. I have frequently fallen victim to this, I almost bought a 180 when I really could only swing a 125... The 150 is only 6" taller than the 125, why not? Then the 180 is only 6" wider than a 150, why not? It goes on forever haha.

Yeah from what I've heard it used to be a bigger difference than it is now days, I was between paying $1200 for a 120gallon starphire rimless and stand or $930 for a 180 gallon regular glass tank and stand, think I made the right choice for me. The starphire was tempting tho. But i couldnt tell if a couple tanks at the store were even starphire or not unless i looked directly down the glass wall long wise, if that makes sense.

Exactly... I started thinking I was gonna get a 90...

It's a running theme for most of us, from what I can tell haha. I've been been doing cichlids for about 2 years now, and it started when My fiancee brought home a 1/2 gallon fish bowl someone left at work. Now I have a 75 and just sold a 125, lol

Not exactly. What I was getting at is that the 210 has the exact same footprint. That's a lot different than oh well its only an extra 6 wider etc. The 210 fits the same space as a 180 only it's taller.

Haha yeah I hear ya man. Personally, I 100% agree with you. But that argument doesn't hold up as well to someone who's not really into fish, such as my fiancee, haha. A tank that's 6" taller is more Imposing piece of furniture, i'll have to admit. Of course if i wasn't trying to put it In the living room, then you're right, it doesn't after all that much.

It is effective but loud. The OceanRevive units are a bit more, but much quieter.
