I can make the skimmer area bigger that isnt a issue. Te skimmer I have is best at 8" of water, and with having 10" baffles I can raise it if needed.

The space between the baffles of 1-1/4 is cool.I will most likely go 1-1/2, this way I can use 2x4 scraps to space them out and they are 1-1/2"

I was more so asking the space that the fuge is and the return area is?

The bigger the return area the better imo but on smaller tanks letting the water drop too much will fluctuate salinity. As far as the fuge goes I tend to go as big as possible. I barely leave enough room for the skimmer. You need a lot of macro algae to be effective and chaeto need to tumble so I put a koralia nano in my fuge. It's all up to you basically. There's really no wrong way... Just more effective methods and practices. Btw... If you use a square to mark your baffle placement and my silicone bumper method you won't need 2x4 spacers. 1¼" bubble trap really works well. Keeps the skimmer bubbles outvif the return section. 1½" works also in higher flow situations.

Tanks for your quick response and Help

Flow isnt a issues as I while I'm upgrading my sump, I am adding a 1350gph pump for the return, this way I can run my dual reactor and bio pellet reactor of the return. I also have a wp25 in the tank. Its a 90 gallon tank

Doing the same, thanks guys, if the return is the middle and the fuge is on the side how do you get water to the fuge?

Same way you get water to a reactor... Your return pump. I ran one of the 2 drains from a 1500 gph glass holes overflow to the fuge section on a buddy's tank last week though. Works perfect.
