Tank is looking good...
I do a small weekly WC and siphon clean the sand bed at that time. Do you have any Super Tongan Nassarius Snail (Nassarius distortus)? They help keep the sand bed clean!

Thanks Lily45nano!

A few more upgrades to the tank. Added some zoas, palys, a volcano chalice, a scroll coral. Also added an apex with lab grade pH probe and breakout box so I can control the water level in either my SW mixing station (to come) or shut off my skimmer if it overflows.

I lost a hammer coral and a nauty spiral monti unfortunately. Do you guys think this is because my tank is not ready for SPS since it is new?
I also have not seen my algae blenny in a few days, he has been way less active in the past three weeks or so, any ideas as to why?
I have a fair bit of cyano growing, I have just been doing water changes and siphoning as much out as possible.
I feed frozen mysis, brine, and new life spectrum sinking pellets, once a day, or every other day roughly. The coral get reef roids 2 or 3 times a week.

ANY SUGGESTIONS OR ADVICE IS APPRECIATED!!! Thank you.
Sorry for the poor quality photos, all I have is an iPhone.
Looks very nice, watch those tangs the usually catch the ick or other illness from stress in a smaller tank like that (they need to be in a 90+ minimum) I had a bad experience with them in a 60 g cube about two years ago.

Thank you. How big were your tangs when you began to see problems? Mine are about 3" right now.

Couple updates!

Added a Neptune Dos, dosing BRS cal and alk. Also have been dealing with dinoflagellates for about two months now, so I have not done any water changes, turned the skimmer off, added an air stone, and borrowed a UV sterilizer from a friend which has been running for about a week now. I have been blowing off the rocks and siphoning the sand bed through a filter sock periodically. I have also done two 4 day blackout periods to help with the dinos. So far no luck, but I am being patient and hoping the UV will help.

I added a green slimer frag, purple bonzai, meteor shower cyphastrea (all before the dinos took hold).
Also picked up a pair of black and white clowns but had one jump the very first night, so I've since added a screen. Added a royal urchin as well.

Sorry for the terrible quality pictures.

Couple updates.

Moved to a new house in November and was able to plumb the tank through a wall into the furnace room. Much more room for everything. Mostly everything survived the move. Had another reefer take my fish and coral in a temporary tank for a few weeks thankfully so made things much easier and allowed me to set up without any livestock to worry about.
I have a 40 breeder on order to make a refugium out of., should be in by mid February. The manifold I plumbed has a barb fitting with a gate valve that is closed right now but ready to be plumbed it.

I will add more updates when the fuge arrives!
