Yes, it is. It's ok. I'll live. I have some family stuff planned today and tomorrow anyway. I'll get it going a little bit each night next week, or if it's here early on Monday, I'll do the changeover then.

Delivered a few minutes ago. Kudos to Cad for great packing. And the cabinet was prebuilt! Once we get the stand in, we can inspect the tank. It was completely shielded in wood, padded then shrink wrapped.

Wet checking. It's beautiful! And it's a beast.
I'll do the changeover this weekend.

Very nice! Really does look great with just water in it. Quite a step up in volume from the Fusion 40.

Of note, you guys have the exact same municipal trash can that we do. Same color and everything.

Thanks! It really seems huge compare to the 40. Sump area is massive.

It's not a municipal can...private hauler..we live in the sticks. Our town does recycling but not waste. Considering what we pay in taxes.....don't get me started. This is, after all, NJ.

Ran all night in the garage ok, so tonight I'll drain it. If I can round up some muscles, we will set it on the stand inside, in a temp position across from its final location.

Reduck,
You must've gotten the last ones remaining. I just got a call back saying their out of stock and they won't be making anymore.

I know it wasn't a big seller. Their Artisan series and the new Versa series are much better sellers. Everyone wants a sumped system but me, and you..
Maybe they can point you to a dealer that has one?
Good luck!

After draining, we checked for the tank pad, and it was missing. So now I wait till cad sends one. I asked to have it here by Friday as my muscle will be available to move it into place. Not going to risk filling it without one!
MP40 QD driver arrived today as did the new tunze 3155. Don't think my tunze nano osmolator will cut it.

Tank pad that goes between the tank and stand? didn't know it came with one. Hopefully it comes by friday.

I ended up ordering the 70G artisan.

I actually ended up ordering through a LFS for cheaper. He said it's in stock so hopefully I don't get any delays.

I have never installed a rimless without a pad. There needs to be something to keep even pressure on the bottom of this monster.

I think you made a good choice with the artisan!

So while waiting for the pad to arrive I spent the day setting up plumbing, skimmer placement, and built the BRS screen top. I am going to stop to pick up some suitable padding so I can get this going. While I love the build quality of this tank, I'm not thrilled with the support from cad on this matter. We probably won't get it in place and filled now till next weekend.

Man, that stinks. I thought that they would surely overnight that pad to you. I can't imagine that the weight would make it cost-prohibitive. Shame to have to wait on something so simple and relatively inexpensive.

Sounds like the company builds great products but has room to improve the logistics.

Absolutely disgusted with cad. No replies, no calls, nothing. They have one more day and I'm calling the credit card company to partially dispute the charge.
The least they could do is tell me what to buy locally. But nothing. I took a chance and bought some drawer liner that looks similar to the stuff under my IM tank. But I'm a bit concerned that if it's not to their specifications, and the tank cracks or leaks, they won't support it. I guess it really doesn't matter since they don't reply anyway...
Nice way to run a business....

Pallet was like new. Tank has a board under it in the lid. Not even a creak or slightest movement occurred.
