Thats what i got, the one linked isnt wired so you will have to do that yourself. Here is a prewired one. http://www.morebeer.com/products/ran...ler-wired.html Ectsupply has them cheaper though. If you dont need the cooling part then go with a single stage like this but not sure if those are prewired or not. http://www.amazon.com/RANCO-ETC-1110.../dp/B0015NV5BE But now i see what you mean by cold.

Lol yeah I'm sure that was confusing. I kept trying to link a picture but it wouldn't work for some reason.

I'm pretty sure I will light myself on fire if I try to wire it myself. And I plan on getting a reef keeper in a few months, and I thought they had a temp module that you
Could add? There is no way I'm going to be allowed to pay 120 for a temp controller. And then get a reef keeper. |

The reef keeper has a temp controller on the main unit.

The single can only control a heater, chiller or fan just a single peice of equipment. where the double can control a heater and chiller or fan at the same time.

Ok. Thank you for the links. I will try and figure out what to do. The finnex titanium heaters don't get the best reviews online, so that makes me a bit nervous. But I like that they are titanium vs glass. Maybe I will do one of each hahaha

That will just plug straight into the ranco right? Or would I have to wire it? |

If you get the prewired ranco then yes it will plug right in, you wont have to wire anything.

I just watched that video with my husband and he almost started crying he was laughing so hard and asked if I was supposed to do that on my own. I shocked the crap out of myself when we had to rewire the washing machine.

After just having my neo-therm die, and reading this thread, think I'm going to go with one of these. 300W seems a bit much for a 29G biocube, but the apex should be able to keep the temp where I need them.

Homer, the light is on most heaters, you should be able to see that to tell.

Haven't purchased one yet, just looking at pictures and reading descriptions. I assumed(everyone knows what happens when you *** ume)there was one, I just don't see one, and the description doesn't say it has one.
