Leak!!!!

Insert MANY unpleasant words here....

I spend months planning... testing making sure everything is perfect.... taking my time.... not rushing....

I leak tested the tank.... everything was fine... I finished getting everything plumbed up.... tested it... everything was fine....

It ran perfect for a week.... THEN.... the front bottom seam of the display tank started leaking like a bastard. Why the heck would it suddenly just start leaking with no stimulus??? Who knows! Now, I've had to drain the entire tank... remove all the live rock and sand. What a disaster.

Ugh.

Sorry to hear about that! That really sucks!

Did it leak a ton of water, or did you catch it in time?

Since your name is "nasageek", do you live on the east coast by the Kennedy space center?

Fortunately, we caught it early and no serious damage done. I live in Houston by Johnson Space Center.

Well..... THAT was a nice 1 month detour..... tank is back up and running.... no leaks.

Clown fish, yellow tank, yellow eye kole tang and 6 green chromis are the first inhabitants.

Additional live stock planned....Fish Stocking Plan
Bubble Tip Anemomi
Powder Blue Tang
Blue Caribbean Tang
Blonde Naso Tang
McCosker or Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse
Ruby Head Fairy Wrasse
Green Mandrain Dragonet
Flame Shallops
Peppermint Shrimp

Initial Coral Stocking Plan
Zoanthids
Ricordea Florida Mushrooms
Yuma Mushrooms
Acans
Euphyllia
Favia

My interest is easy, quick growth with colorful corals. Comments and thoughts more than welcome.
