So, what is SCA saying? Surely by now they have a response?

He found the crack a few days ago... I wouldn't have even done a leak test. It has a crack; send it back.

I called and talked to Steve at SCA and he will be sending a new tank out next Monday. I found it a little strange though when he said they would inspect the tank before shipping it out this time. I guess the manufacturer sends them the tanks and they never actually look to make sure there is no damage.

Great news!...

It comes from China and I doubt Steve opens the crates and inspects.

I got the new tank in Yesterday and everything looks good. I wasn't able to fully inspect the bottom but I'm confident there is no damage.
