Chrysiptera damsels are usually good bets for community tanks. You could check out a blue assessor as well. None of the tang options are good for a 60g tank.

Yeah, I know my tank really isn't big enough to house a tang right now of any kind. I just really like them. I just wanted something that will stand out and kinda be the centerpiece of the tank with a splash of bright color. I like my foxface, but he is a bit shy. Doesn't spend too much time out in front.

A yellow eye kole tang has a nice bluish purple and the eyes really pop. Plus they eat Lahr and are always out. Good eaters. I think would do ok in a 60

Starckes damsel. I’ve had one in a community tank for six years. A beautiful blue and yellow, four inches, very hardy and while somewhat territorial gets along well with only mock charges every now and then.

Thanks Frogman - I hadn't thought about a Kole.
Dendrite, are the Starckes Damsels the same as the yellow tails? Or are they different? |
