I have 150 gal tank with a 30 gal fuge.Grape calerpa in the fuge.I use iron(kent brand) for the calerpa.I dose as instructed once a week.I dose iodide once a week as per instructions.I dose these two after I do a 10 gal water change.Water is at same salinity but I don't test the make up water for I am to lazy to do that I do enough.Kalk water is added with an auto top off unit.I evaporate 5 gal in 3 days.I dose alk and calcium using a dosing unit(Randys formula)calcium gets dosed every 2.15 hr alk every 1 1/2 hrs for 30 seconds.Mag is added when it drops below 1350 ppm.I use a refracto meter to check salinity.I use a ph monitor for ph.PH is 8.2 - 8.3 depends when I check.PH dose spike when alk is added but goes back to normal.calcium 460 ppm (salifert kit)alk 9.6 dkh(salifert kit)I have many lps sps leathers and fish.Skimmers are off when feeding.I shut them for 20 min.I feed corals during day and night.
