You can see the supported mounting options on that page (sideways mount reproduced here):



I did a slight mod to my swivel bracket to allow mounting this way. A little different, and I think a little easier than the mod that is floating around on RC discussion threads.

I have DE 250 HQI 14K Pheonix w/ t5 actinic supplementation. I'm pretty happy with the color and growth of the corals.

Thanks for the Marine Depot link, that makes things clear now.

They said they are not suitable for use on a wave maker. Why would that be? My mj 1200's are currently running on a wavemaker pro is why I ask.

Thanks leesanhua! I'm using 2x 250w mh 15k xm. I also have 2x 110w VHO actinics that I use solely for dust/dawn effect. Heres a couple more pics

Yes I do, its a 40g long. The best part about it is that it is directly behind the wall in another room. It makes everything so much easier. Heres a pic
