Dave, you have my official Melev blessing - two words. "Buh-bye"

Just kidding. I can't believe you have a pair big enough to walk away. I thought old reefers don't quit, they just drown in debt. Don't be a stranger. You've been in plenty of threads I've read, and lots of people benefitted from your interaction. Hope you'll be happy with your future endeavors.

Hey, i can relate somewhat to what you have done. Many years ago i was a regular here , had a 120 in the wall sps setup. Man i dumped thousands into that system but knew one day the hurricanes here in florida would shut me down . Last year WILMA shut me down for 5 days , luckily i had the system switched to freshwater by then and had no losses. We all have our reasons to get into and out of this hobby. I really enjoy going back to freshwater , i now have a 120 in the wall and a 125 .
By the way , my other hobby is GUITARS also . Fender american STRAT, Gibson Les Paul 1960 reissue, and an old 60's Gibson SG jr.

Wow Dave .... I do hope you'll be back, too.

I remember following your tank because you set up just before I did and were one step ahead of me. I followed your posts and ups and downs because I was usually hitting the same problems in my tank about the time you were getting them solved in yours.

Good luck with the AMP and I hope we do see you back again bigger and better than before.

Take care,
Cathy

guitar,

I completely understand. I left the hobby for several years cause of ich. The last bout I poisened my prized emperor angel with copper trying to cure him and threw the towel in. I have been back for around two years now and I am more heavily involved than ever and haven't lost any fish to ich but have lost a few other ways.

If you don't have one you should really check out the podXT. It is a great piece of equipment and I thoroughly enjoy mine coupled with a nice Mac and Garageband I gave away my guitar amp that was practically brand new cause the podXT beats it in every way shape and form. I know you will probably say that you hate Macs being an IT guy but you can't beat them when it comes to creativity just like you can't beat the sound of a les paul

Good luck,
C.G.
