I'll donate a Seclone skimmer if anyone wants to demo mods. I don't know how to do them, but you can use my skimmer to show everyone.

Maybe when finished it could be a door prize.

Heck, i'll do it if someone provides the AquaClear, lol.
How to convert an Aquaclear 500 into a hang-on refugium

Like we posted in another thread, I think if Mary and I bring in our non-operational calcium reactors and get those up and running, I think we could help the club as a whole as far as these devices go. I'll bring mine in...
Chris ask Matt or Ron if this is doable or not. I know when I set my reactor up it wasn't something that could be done during a meeting. It might be nice to bring them in anyway. I imagine several members would like to see one and hear how they (are suppose to) work. What's wrong with your's anyway?

Since we have members new to SPS maybe a talk about the relationship between Alkalinity and Calcium if they're interested.

I think i have a hang on filter that is big enough. I'll look tomorrow and see. I don't know if it's an aquaclear but it should work as it's designed the same. I used a Cascade 300 to build mine.

Okay I have a hang on pump. I don't think it's a 500 model but it's all yours if you want it. I've even got some plexi that I can cut for it. All you will need to do is bring the glue.
