Reflectors - Where to get one? - Page 2

I wonder about that reflector as well... It hasnt been tested, and its rather small, so I cant imagine its output to be that great like a lumenarc or something. Then again, its 1/3 the price of a lumenarc. As for the ballast, I would go with a EVC ballast for $100 instead.... better output than the Icecap. So a $29 reflector from Hello, a $100 ballast from ocean encounter... oh, and Hello is selling the Ushio 14,000K bulb at 10% off with coupon... so thats a very nice setup (except for the reflector maybe) for under $200. I dont trust the ARO ballasts. I had one that crapped out after a year.

I vote for 2-4 VHO URI super actinics run on an Icecap ballast for supplementation. According to Icecap, the actinics will last about 3 years. Super actinics definitely make the colors pop.
