I've really enjoyed your thread, it was one of the original threads that inspired a lot of ideas for my tank.
Thanks for straightening me out...

I would like to get a bigger tank it's just that money thing.

I really like them but a 180 or 210 would fit so nice into my stand with little modification.

210 it is then...time to start saving up...hehe...the site has been like this for a few weeks...had to find where they hid all the buttons but it seems to be working out well.

Yea it's very similar to our Canadian reef site so not that big of a change for me.

The home page looks quite plain and underwhelming to me but what do I know.

Just looked at the homepage again, I guess it's not that bad. TOTM pic could be a bit bigger.

I guess I missed Marc's call when he was looking for Ideas.

The wife just caught me at the tank with a tape measure...this is going to take a whole lot of arguing...and if she doesn't understand we'll just have to argue some more.

Tell her you don't tell her what size clothes to wear, and she doesn't tell you what size tank to have.

I think that goes without saying. Shin guards would be good too.

Here is a quick end shot I just took.

I'm taking waiting till the sun goes down to get more pics, harsh shadows to deal with.

How big is that chromis ?!

I'm pleasantly surprised that your ritteri has stayed a modest size.

Tank looks great. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Tony, it's about 3" nose to tip of the tail.

The nem was getting quite large but split twice then I switched from 10k xm's to 15k xm's and it didn't like that much so I put in one of my 1yr old 10k's back in.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too.

Here is a pic with the glare from the windows ...

You can see everything is moved out, sump, equip, control panel.

A 6' tank will fit in nice with some minor modifications, then I can put a new skin on it and it's like a whole new tank and stand....well I guess it would be....

As far as stocking goes for the upgrade, I'm going to go for more of a mixed reef rather than a SPS dominated mixed.

I'm going to keep the Nem and clowns and everything I have now and ad more fish, LPS, and zoos/rics.

I am just going to try to keep it simple and just worry about CA & Alk. Having 27 different additives and 27 different test kits and all the stress is not for me.

I may ad some new SPS frags but if the only SPS I can keep alive are Montys and Digis, so be it.

Anyway..............
