This is my new 100 Gal Rimless SPS. I've since added new corals but unfortunately my camera died so i have no new pics. The tank here is like a week old and all corals were transferred from my old tank. When the camera is repaired i will update new pictures.

Anyone notice that the tanks with the extremely colorful colors mostly have blue backgrounds? I believe the blue background allows the color on the corals to contrast very strong and stand out in the pictures.

I am with reefsahoy these are pics after about a month but my camera broke so I don't have any updated pics. The tank was setup June 6th 09. It will be predominantly sps when it grows up.
All of the tanks on here are always an inspiration. Thanks Jason

Thanks, I got some help from Ed Reef on the best looking design for a peninsular tank. I finally borrowed someones camera so I should have a few updated shots soon.

Jason, do your Vortechs reach all the way across the tank?

Yea I have 2 torches at the end and they move a ton. I have them all set on reef crest mode and I have one side linked together and the other side anti-synced. At some point I want to try hooking them up so that one side will run for 30min then switch and then sometimes they all run.

This is such a wonderful thread. Some of the most amazing tanks. Just gorgeous. My tank is still very young, but Im hoping it will fill-in nicely like some of yours. I only have a crummy point-and-click camera, so the full tank shot leaves much to be desired

Thank you very much. I just love this hobby, but am relatively new to reef central. I cant tell you how much I have learned in the short time Ive been lurking... I made all the newbie mistakes by trusting all the companies info etc over the years. My tank is fianlly on the right track! Now its time to grow the sps into mature colonies (finally!!!)

I love this thread, some amazing tanks posted.
As my tank consists of mostly SPS (in fact only 2 other corals aren't SPS, but LPS - red/pink chalice and red/yellow gonipora), thought I'd add it to the mix Here is my lil 12g system: And my favourite coral, ID'd as Acropora Fenneri:
