interesting. thanks for the response. i have a360w over my 24 nanocube, probably 6-7 inches above the water using the gooseneck. my color and intensity ramp up, but intensity stops at 55% and color is at 30% at peak. but your tank at 20% color looks crisper/whiter than mine at 30%. maybe i'll have to fiddle some more with my color setting.

anyways, your tank looks great

Thanks.

It looks bluer in person. I just adjusted the white balance for better viewing pleasure in that image

Everything is still a little fraggy, but it's a FTS technically! Added a few more because something the size of a quarter can't be made out in a FTS.

They just moved over and are starting to color up a little. A few are in that 'lets turn green for a bit' phase. But it's coming together. Fish are in QT and shall move over in a lil.

Nice tank. I have the same one. How do you like the IM media reactor? Is it quiet? Is it easy to change out the media? Which size is that one?

Thanks!! I was only using it temporarily until my phosban reactor came in. It's too small for the reefer 170. It was great in my IM tank though! lol

I've always had the mesh top. Just didn't want any jumpers so it stays on.

This was my tank:

But the noise that system made was an issue, so I'm going a different direction with it now. It's a low noise Softie tank now:

It has some serious growing out to do now.

Welcome to LA area reef happiness. Once your rocks get covered in thick periphyton, things will operate very nice.
