Were you going to do True Percula or False?

I was looking at your tank again. Wow, a vortech in a 12 gallon. That's got to be a record! Is it one of those little mp10's? Way cool.

Will be a pair of true percs

...as for the Vortech, it's a MP20 ... very keen to get a MP10, and probably will when I upgrade to a potential 30g system, will run both the MP20 and MP10, unless I can get a great deal on a Tunze 6055, will see what happens.

Interesting point. I've found most tanks with a dark background coupled with T5 lighting provides the best looking images. Again it also comes down to the actual photograph and how it was taken.

I believe that if we all used the exact same camera and settings, all the reef tank photos posted would be very similar looking in terms of colour etc - and would be a much better way to compare tanks... but the odds of that happening are the same as me setting up a massive 500g shallow rimless SPS system tomorrow

Here is an 'almost' full tank shot of my 'almost' all SPS tank. It's been about nine months since I moved into the current tank.

Thanks. I have 2 54W aquablue+, 2 blue plus T5s and a 250W Phoenix 14K and a 250W Helios 20K. It sounds like lots of blue but I like it. If you look at the coraline on the rock, you can notice the right side is bluer than the left side. The right side has the Helios.

I just got a new fixture with 2-400W MH and 6T5s. I am switching the MH to 20K Radiums and I will add a couple midday (whiter) T5s.

I've tried posting a couple times this past week but it kept kicking me out of this thread. Anyway, I wanted to say, awesome tanks pterfloth and carmen!!!

pterfloth, your tank looks gigantic! Did you start with all frags?

carmen, did you start with all frags? It looks like your about to outgrow that tank!!

Just awesome!

LUVSPS: My tank is only a 200, 72L"x 30"W. Most everything is from small frags except the large birdsnest on the far left which is 10 years old and very slow growing. Most of my corals are 18-24 months old. I moved everything from my 120 to this tank in March.

How long did you have that coperband? any clams with it? any nipping? I'm considering one to try to rid my tank of some aptasias but always fear they could kill my clams?

Thanks, The tank is 72x24x24. I have had the copperband for three years coming on for. It never picked at the corals, th ecentopyge do that They are known to taste the clam mantles though.
