That is a Mean Green Zoanthid that has been shot very close up.

Looks like a canon eos 10D at ISO 800, at 50mm posibly a macro 50mm lens, awesome picture, but what I'm really wondering is...What is he doing up at 4:03am taking pictures? thats dedication can you expand further on the lens? im really curious...
