I also have been looking for the volute o-ring for the Aquabee pumps. I tried a few metric 0-rings that I found locally and it was a bust.
Seems like the OEM part is only available out of the USA.

getting an a150 f2001 used , the Aquabee pump is not working very well. Is it easy to take apart? Can I swap it out with a Eheim 1262? thanks

The Aquabee pump is the only pump that can be used with the A150, as far as I know. The pump is easy to take apart, though. When you get it, run it in some vinegar for a day or so. That may clean it up and it will run better......Make sure you keep the volute free of build-up......

Anyone interested in some of the H&S Eheim pumps with all of the plumbing parts? I am parting out my large H&S 5 pump skimmer. I have 3 pumps left. Two have working needle wheels in them with new washers and all of the elbows and unions to connect to the skimmer body and one has all of that except the impeller. The impeller in the first two are in OK shape but show some signs of wear on the magnet top from old washers wearing out in them. I cleaned them up and put new washers in them and they are working great. No idea what to ask for these since it seems like you cannot find replacements for them now a days. I'll start at $200 OBO each for the ones with impellers and $125 for the one without + shipping if not local SF Bay Area pickup. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks

Mag 2 is what I use. Water should be just below the bayonet when you turn the pump on.

I had one. Great skimmer. I fed it with direct siphon from overflow.

Trying to remove the impeller cover so I can inspect the impeller and the pump, I turned the ring so it would be able to come off but I cannot seem to remove the cover, I have it soaking in warm water and vinegar right now. Any ideas of how to remove the volute on a AquaBee 2000/1? it is the external model. Thanks again

I recall mine being very tight. I believe there are finger tabs to twist a ring on the volute. I know mine was tough to take off. Make sure you silicone the o ring when you out it back. That will help next time.

Yes. It comes off with a 1/4 twist.

Still using the same Aquabee F/2001 pump that came with mine seven years ago. I've never seen a skimmer produce a drier foam than this (depending upon the settings)!!!!!!!!

Finally got the cover off after 2 days of soaking, that did not work Put it in a bucket of hot water, 10 minutes later it came off, kind of like a white gooey stuff holding it together. The ceramic impeller will slide out, I have not inspected the bottom bearing yet.

Now I know why I could not remove the cover it was glued on I guess the O-ring was leaking,The impeller is the old style with the rubber bearings, are they're suppose to be bearings between the rubber bearing and the body of the impeller?
I have contacted H&S I guess I will have to wait to see if they respond.

Hi ,the older impeller turns on the whole shaft so the silicone bushes grip onto the shaft and should not rotate and their is nothing between the bush and the pump body ,the bushes just sit in cup inside the body. On the newer pumps after 2007 thay changed the entire pump to ceramic bearings , where the shaft and impeller are fixed and turn on small ceramic bearings housed in silicone bushes .

I have read on this thread about washers wearing out. Is that before 2007 or after? I got my a150 in like 2005 and when I take my pump apart, I can't see what washer everyone is talking about? Does anyone know ?
